Reports: Coke reaches settlement with EU

After a five-year investigation into how Coca-Cola sells to European retailers, sources close to the situation say the company has reached a settlement with the European Commission. The agreement is said to call for Coke to share as much as 20% of its branded coolers with other companies, and to stop giving large discounts on leading brands in exchange for retailers buying less popular brands. Neither the EU nor Coke commented.
