Continental celebrates record quarter, says it could have been better

Continental Airlines posted record earnings for the third quarter, with a net profit of $241 million. Still, company officials say it could have been better. "Continental's operations continue to be adversely impacted by our nation's antiquated air traffic control system, which is not keeping up with the demand for air travel in this country, especially along the northeast quarter," said Continental President Jeff Smisek.
