HHS, DOJ launch Web sites to combat Medicare fraud, identity theft

The HHS and the Department of Justice have unveiled two Web sites aimed at combating Medicare identity theft and medical fraud. The Web sites provide Medicare recipients with tips such as regularly checking Medicare documents for suspicious charges and being wary of medical services and products offered free of charge in exchange for identification numbers.
