Los Angeles airport board set to award $1.13B in 2 contracts

The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners is expected to award two construction contracts worth a total of $1.13 billion today. The construction projects, which will be funded through bonds and airport revenue, include building nine airline gates and adding 1 million square feet to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. The board has selected joint venture Austin Commercial and Walsh Construction for the project.
