Surescripts data shows twice as many doctors are e-prescribing

Surescripts predicts more than 140,000 physicians will send prescriptions electronically by the end of this year, nearly double the number last year. E-prescribing is "beneficial for tracking and managing potential drug interactions with other medications," said Dr. Greg Fuller, a Texas-based family physician. "Plus, it solves the age-old problem of illegible handwriting."
