Team Germany wins Solar Decathlon

A group of German college students walked off with the top prize at this year's Solar Decathlon, which saw 20 teams from across the U.S., Canada and Europe construct solar-powered houses on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The winning house -- a two-story cube covered in solar panels -- produced more energy than it used throughout the competition, even during three days of rain.
