Vermont receives $1M in federal grant to expand e-prescribing

Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., announced a federal grant of $1 million from the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration to expand e-prescribing in the state by helping health providers purchase necessary software. "Electronic medical records hold the promise for literally billions of dollars in health care savings," Leahy said.
