Bowling Green officials consider raising hotel-motel tax

Hoteliers in Bowling Green, Ohio, are expressing their concerns about a proposal in front of the City Council to raise the hotel-motel tax from 3% to 6%. "My hotel property is opposed to the increase unless [the entire increase] was going to go directly toward the convention and visitors bureau, and that is not happening," said Leslie Florea, director of sales at the Holiday Inn Express.
