Study: CE spending during the holidays to rise 5%

While overall holiday-gift spending might drop this year, the potential for consumer electronics gift-giving appears optimistic, according to a report from CEA. Overall holiday spending is expected to come in at an average of $750 per person this year, a 2% drop from last year, but CE spending is forecast to be up by 5% to $232 per shopper, on average.
