Wines are on tap at San Francisco eateries

Asian-fusion eatery Out the Door is one of several San Francisco restaurants pouring its by-the-glass wines from a tap instead of a bottle these days. Wines delivered without bottles and corks cost less, stay fresher and cut down on the amount of recycling, says wine director Gus Vahlkamp.
