65 Detroit-area eateries come together to support soup kitchens

For the next year, 65 Metro Detroit restaurants ranging from independent eateries to chains including P.F. Chang's and Buffalo Wild Wings will take a turn donating food and staff to serve lunch once a week at one of five area soup kitchens. Charities that feed the needy are struggling as tight economic times bring increased need and reduced funds.
