EIA: U.S. ethanol production jumped 5.6% last week

Daily U.S. ethanol production reached 908,000 barrels in the week that ended Oct. 14, up 5.6% from the previous week and the highest output since the week that ended Aug. 5, according to the Energy Information Administration. Ethanol supplies totaled 17.05 million barrels, up 178,000 barrels from the previous week, the EIA said.
