Facebook's mobile platform is going places, exec says

Facebook's platform for mobile devices is a major strategic priority for the social network, Chief Technology Officer Bret Taylor says. The platform lets developers build Facebook-based applications for Android and iOS devices, as well as potentially for TiVos, televisions or even Web-capable automobiles. "We hope that we can be the social discovery engine that drives growth across all of these devices," Taylor says.
