U.S. airlines making strides to improve in-flight food

American Airlines has hooked up with a pair of popular chefs, Richard Sandoval and Marcus Samuelsson, to spice up their in-flight menus. It's a step in the right direction, but it will take a few more ingredients to bring U.S. airlines in line with food-friendly carriers such as Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways and Emirates Airlines.
