People with more Facebook friends have more gray matter in four key areas of their brains than do people with fewer friends, researchers have discovered. The findings raise the question of whether social networking actively changes people's cerebral structure or if some people have brains that are naturally better suited to building networks, experts say. "The exciting question now is whether these structures change over time -- this will help us answer the question of whether the Internet is changing our brains," says researcher Ryota Kanai.
