Maine schools find teamwork the best antidote to bullying

Elementary and secondary schools across the state have created student civil rights teams as part of an anti-bullying effort designed to educate children about tolerance. At C.K. Burns, an elementary school in Saco, biweekly meetings, field trips and talks by diversity experts have cut the number of harassment complaints in half.
