U.S. seeks renewal of poultry, beef trade with China

U.S. officials are in China to urge repeal of the country's bans on U.S. poultry and beef imports, enacted months ago after avian flu and BSE scares from infected animals. A U.S. spokesman said American poultry is "free of avian influenza" and China should open its market to U.S. meat.
