General Dynamics' Q3 profits climb 16%

Strong demand for armored combat vehicles helped boost General Dynamics' third-quarter profit by 16%. The company earned $374 million, up from $322 million a year ago. Growth at its information technology unit and at its Gulfstream corporate jet unit also pushed profits up.
