Weeks after a controversial address to a Toronto industry gathering, WPP Group worldwide creative director Neil French is leaving the holding company, reports Advertising Age. It was not divulged whether French was let go or is leaving of his own accord. French, who is legendary in the advertising industry for his blunt manner and for stints working as a bullfighter and as manager of rock band Judas Priest, reportedly denigrated women advertising executives saying, "Women don't make it to the top because they don't deserve to."
