Pentagon expects to cut up to $15B in annual spending

Department of Defense officials plan to cut up to $15 billion a year in spending from 2007 to 2012, with weapons programs likely to absorb a large portion of the cuts. On Nov. 21, Pentagon officials will release specific budget-cutting targets to the military services.
