Exposure to household insecticides linked to lupus, RA

A review of data from a study on almost 77,000 postmenopausal women suggests a link between exposure to household insecticides and an increased risk of lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. The researchers said that other factors may have contributed to the difference in risk but that the findings indicate a need for more study on environmental risk factors in autoimmune disorders.
