Mangosteen seen as fighting heart disease, diabetes

Researchers say mangosteen juice has anti-inflammatory properties that may help prevent heart disease and diabetes in people who are obese. The study, published in Nutrition Journal, said people who drank a half-liter or more of the juice daily saw lowered levels of C-reactive protein, a biomarker for inflammation.
