CDC: National teenage birth rate dropped 2.4%

The CDC reported that the U.S. teenage birth rate dropped by 2.4% from 2007 to 2008, but rates varied widely by state. New Hampshire had the lowest rate, at 19.8 births per 1,000 among 15-to-19-year-old women, while Mississippi had the highest rate of 65.7 births per 1,000 teenagers.
