Darden details Middle East expansion plans for 3 brands

Darden Restaurants has partnered with developer Americana Group to bring its Red Lobster, Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse brands to the Middle East. The agreement calls for at least 60 new eateries in several cities including Egypt, Kuwait and Lebanon during the next five years. Americana owns about 1,200 eateries in the region, including U.S. concepts such as KFC, Krispy Kreme and TGI Friday's.
