Long-lost postcard arrives after 64 years

Maine resident Ruth Webber McGary was a freshman in college in 1946 when a couple named Gert and Charlie wrote a postcard to her. She received the message -- 64 years later -- thanks to the sharp eye of a mail-room employee at the University of Maine at Farmington. The worker said she noticed the card when it arrived from the post office recently bearing an old address and a 1-cent stamp.
