Researchers to study prostate cancer biomarkers, lung cancer agents

The National Cancer Institute has awarded Canary Foundation researchers at Stanford University, Calif., with an Early Detection Research Network Biomarker Development Laboratory grant to support research on biological markers that will aid in the early diagnosis of prostate cancer. Canary Foundation has also received FDA approval for the first human trial of molecular imaging agents for identification of small tumors during the early phase of lung cancer.
