Revenue at US Airways rose almost 17% in the third quarter, and despite a 17% jump in fuel costs, net income hit $240 million, reversing a year-earlier loss of $80 million. Earnings of $1.22 per share topped Wall Street expectations $1.17 per share, while revenue figures matched forecasts.
