Verizon to put Samsung Tab on market Nov. 11 for $600

Verizon Wireless priced its Samsung Galaxy Tab at $600 -- just below the iPad's $629 for a similarly 3G-enabled tablet -- and defended the price by noting subscribers will not have to sign a contract. The carrier said it would introduce the Tab in its stores on Nov. 11; AT&T and Sprint Nextel will add the tablet at a later date. The Tab features a 7-inch screen and runs on Android 2.2.
