Airbus, Boeing agree on demand for narrow-body planes

Competitors Airbus and Boeing forecast increased demand in the narrow-body sector during the next two decades. Airbus predicts a demand overall for 27,000 aircraft, while Boeing estimates a demand for 32,500 aircraft. Both carriers agree that about 70% of the aircraft ordered will be single-aisle planes.
