Food Day returns with focus on nutrition, education, policy

Food Day will return Monday, more than 30 years after the Center for Science in the Public Interest shelved it, with a focus on nutrition, education, world hunger and food prices. About 1,800 activities are planned around the U.S., including an "Eat Real Eat In" event in New York City that will feature nutrition experts and others in a discussion of food issues. Organizers also created a curriculum for teachers and a recipe book from chefs.
