MillerCoors CEO says it's time for "brand beer"

At a meeting of beer distributors in Las Vegas, MillerCoors CEO Tom Long talked about how spirits and wine sales are increasingly encroaching on the market, and he said that the industry is going to have to band together and "as an industry take on the challenge of brand beer." As part of his presentation, Long showed TV spots from spirits brands Captain Morgan and Smirnoff to illustrate how competitors are connecting with consumers.
