Students with disabilities explore careers in mentoring event

Students with disabilities in Panama City, Fla., recently participated in an event designed to help them explore different careers. Disability Mentoring Day had students and adult job-seekers with disabilities shadowing employees in various workplace environments in the community. The event helps students gain experience and also may raise awareness among employers about the capabilities of those with disabilities, one organizer said.
