W.Va. could gain 19,000 jobs from fracking, group says:

America's Natural Gas Alliance and Energize West Virginia held a public meeting on Thursday to address the safety and economic impact of natural gas drilling. Hydraulic fracturing operations could bring in up to 19,000 West Virginia jobs, said Energize West Virginia Executive Director Kim Lawrence. "Natural gas is one of the few industries that [is] hiring," Lawrence said.
