Concrete flaws among construction issues affecting $250M L.A. airport runway

Three contractors and a joint venture that worked on Runway 25 Left at Los Angeles International Airport are named in a lawsuit filed by the city. The suit claims the runway "is unfit for its intended purpose, and the city will incur ongoing consequential property damage and economic losses as a result of the deficiencies." The concrete runway has developed cracks that have exposed rebar.
