England looks to expand use of 3D printers in curriculum

In England, 21 secondary schools already are using 3D printers throughout the curriculum, and now officials have announced the designation of 60 "teaching schools" that will train teachers to use the technology with the goal of expanding the use of such devices in instruction. Officials say the integration of 3D printers in lessons is part of an overall effort to improve achievement in science, technology, engineering and maths.
