Fla. district adjusts PE schedule

A Florida school district encouraged its elementary schools to meet the state-mandated 150 minutes of weekly physical education in three days -- rather than five. Most schools made the switch from 30-minute daily PE blocks to 50-minute sessions three times a week. The move is intended to give students more uninterrupted time for math instruction.
