Heating bills to likely soar as Gulf cleans up

The hurricane destruction around the Dynergy energy plant in Yscloskey, La., is symbolic of Hurricane Katrina's impact on the nation's natural gas lifeline. Nearly 52% of Gulf gas production is still on hold, awaiting repairs for Katrina-related damage, and the result will likely be soaring home heating bills this winter.
