Digital texts may aid students with special needs

Students with learning disabilities may benefit from a new digital math textbook that reads problems aloud while highlighting the words on a screen, per the findings of the first year of a small two-year study. "All the students did improve in their algebra and pre-algebra skills," said University of Louisville assistant professor Debra K. Bauder.
