Coffee is seen as fighter against advance of liver disease

Drinking three or more cups of coffee daily may prevent the progression of advanced liver disease and chronic hepatitis C, a study found. "We observed an inverse association between coffee intake and liver disease progression," said researchers, who noted that people who drank three or more cups a day were 53% less likely to experience disease progression than subjects who drank no coffee.
