Google teams up with top labels for music search, sales

Google has reached a deal with the four top music labels to include song clips in search results and allow search users to purchase music. The new features, set to launch Oct. 28, are being powered by startups iLike and LaLa, which are providing the streaming tools for Google; the results also will include a "buy" link that will connect users to sites including Amazon.com and Apple's iTunes store.
