Hospital sends newborns home in sleep sack for safety

Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, Pa., sends each newborn home with a sleep sack, a sleeveless blanket designed to keep them warm and reduce the chance of sudden infant death syndrome. Neonatal nurse practitioner Virginia Long said the Children's Miracle Network agreed to pay for the sacks, which are recommended by the AAP, for all of the hospital's newborns.
