Li & Fung to acquire US children's clothing company

Li & Fung, a Hong Kong-listed consumer goods sourcing firm, plans to pay no more than $401.8 million for Wear Me Apparel. The Asian company is looking to build its footprint overseas and may follow up the deal with other acquisitions. Wear Me Apparel manages Calvin Klein, Timberland and Rocawear clothing brands along with designing and selling clothing under the Kids Headquarters label.
