Main TARP programs will be shut down, Geithner says

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner says most of the key programs in the Troubled Asset Relief Program will be closed down. Instead, the Obama administration will initiate "more-targeted programs" at areas where credit needs support, Geithner said. He said the administration has not decided on whether to continue TARP past its expiration at year's end.
