Tennessee district's report cards go online

Report cards are going paperless in one Tennessee district that has transitioned to the online PowerSchool program, which gives parents daily access to student grades and assignments in addition to quarterly report cards. Teachers also can use the program to communicate with parents by e-mail, and parents can still receive a written report card if they request it.
