American Airlines to boost service out of Los Angeles

American Airlines and its partner American Eagle are planning to add 32 departures from Los Angeles International Airport next spring. The flights include service to Shanghai as well as nine domestic destinations. American has identified five "cornerstone" markets in the U.S.: Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, New York and Dallas-Fort Worth. "These markets represent the top U.S. commerce centers and are significant international gateways that provide the best connections between American and our Oneworld [alliance] partners," said Derek DeCross, vice president of sales at American.
