Fairbank explains Capital One's stance on debit card fees

Richard Fairbank, chief executive officer at Capital One, addressed during a conference call on quarterly results the issue of debit card fees. Mr. Fairbank said that the new limits on interchange fees and other changes will reduce Capital One's revenue as much as $80 million. To compensate for the lost revenue, the bank has made some changes, he said.
