92-year-old dome, cupola of W.Va. county courthouse undergo replacement

The Hampshire County Courthouse in West Virginia is getting a roof makeover. The cupola and 92-year-old dome have been removed and are being replicated. A steel structure has been installed atop the building to protect its rubber roof until the new dome is ready. Other work for the $300,000-plus job includes replacement of the roof flashing, work on the cornice and installation of new downspouts.
