Anti-leak tool wasn't in place at NSA pre-Snowden, officials say

The National Security Agency didn't deploy updated anti-leak software for blocking internal threats at the job site where Edward Snowden worked because there was not enough bandwidth, officials say. "NSA has a very large, diverse and complex IT infrastructure across our global enterprise, and many features of that infrastructure evolve over time as new capabilities are developed, refined, and deployed," an unidentified NSA spokeswoman said.
