Drug price changes can be baffling, pharmacists say

Recent increases in medicine prices, including the generic drug levothyroxine, are hard to follow and don't always make sense, a pharmacist in Sioux City, Iowa, say. A reduction in the number of branded versions of levothyroxine has led to price hikes but not shortages for generics, a pharmacy technician said.
