Glisten Confectionery to shutter Skegness facility

Glisten Confectionery, makers of boiled sweets, fruit gums, jellies, toffees, chocolates and popcorn for the U.K., plans to shut down manufacturing at its Skegness facility by March 2014 and transfer production to its Leicester plant and the Czech Republic. Extra capacity in other facilities precipitated the decision.
